We are extremely excited to blog about our engagement photography session with Danielle & Mike in Old Town, Albuquerque! They are such an extraordinary power couple, which made it difficult to choose a date that we were all in town for their engagement photos, but not only are they successful, they are most likely the most down to earth people you will ever meet. Mike was a tad bit anxious before we started, but you’ll see that he warmed up FAST! Of course, with all the illegal parking, water fountain splashing, and crowded carnival on a hot day in June, who wouldn’t ease up to our cameras? He’s romantically debonair in all these photos, and Danielle is fabulously gorgeous. You have to see for yourselves in our new gallery!

We want to thank Kristin and Seth for choosing Triple 8 Photography for their maternity session. The two make a great looking couple and were absolutely fun to take photographs of. The props like the red lawn chairs made great additions to our photos and Kristin had a knack with coming up with great poses. Stefanie + Patrick Wedding | San Jose, California Wedding Photography

“Somebody is Getting Married” (lyrics to The Muppets) comes on as Stefanie is escorted down the aisle by her father in a quiet, private setting in their backyard in San Jose, CA. Needless to say, based on the opener, this wedding was among one of our most fun to shoot!

Sophie and I traveled to San Jose, California and were actually pretty worried for the weather over Memorial Day weekend. However, despite the rain showers and unpredictable weather that occurred during the week leading up to the big day, that Saturday afternoon was a beautiful day for Stefanie and Patrick. The couple looked amazing and you can really tell how truly in love they were. Sophie and I enjoyed shooting their wedding and we captured some great shots at the home for the private ceremony along with photos of the bridal party at a nearby park which had a lake and some swans. We would like to thank Stefanie and Patrick again for choosing Triple 8 Photography on your special day. We really had a great time and will always remember the Cinnabons you had for dessert! =) We hope you love the photos we’ve posted and are having a blast in Maui! Sophie and I want to wish you both the best. Your story is one where “Love Conquers All.”

While the bridesmaids were worrying about why the dress wasn’t fitting correctly, Stef couldn’t help but realize this was her day, and this wasn’t going to ruin it. Love it!

New Mexico Bound

Tim and I are on the road as I type this on my Droid. We are constantly finding new ways to challenge ourselves as professionals, as photographers, and as lovers of life. We return to New Mexico full of energy to give our all. Here is to the future, learning from our past, and accomplishing our dreams. We walk in our faith and hope you keep us in your prayers!

Germaine & Hieu Family Session | Las Vegas, New Mexico Engagement Photography

“Ladybug, ladybug!” Cruz would cry out in the middle of our photo session while trampling through the grassy fields in Las Vegas, NM. The smallest member of the Ha family has a unique fascination and talent with capturing a mini-handful of ladybugs. To our surprise, Cruz had carried those ladybugs throughout the entire photo session from Old Town, the Riverwalk, to the Montezuma Castle! Germaine & Hieu chose to do a family session with us in lieu of an engagement session with their package. We think it’s a GREAT idea, and we recommend shooting a session with Tim and I before your wedding date so we can better know each other!

Tim told them that we would shoot until the kids got tired, but the children ended up tiring US out after driving and shooting through multiple locations in Las Vegas. We ended our shoot at the Montezuma Castle, where we were actually chased off by private security after sneaking a final family photo of them in the grass. We had a blast shooting Germaine & Hieu’s family, and definitely look forward to more fun times and great photos during their August wedding this year!

Germaine & Hieu, thank you for choosing Triple 8 Photography, and thank you for becoming our first and dear friends in Las Vegas. You both are wonderful parents, with soo much love for your children, we are blessed to have met you and are grateful that you welcomed us immediately into your family!

Trinh & Thien | Albuquerque Wedding Videography

Tim and I thought you might enjoy this clip from Trinh & Thien’s wedding last month by Moving Sky Media. We had the pleasure to work with John during the 15 hours capturing their beautiful wedding, and could not have asked for a more awesome videographer to work along side with. Through the tight spaces, and working with over 350 guests, we were all able to stay out of each other’s way respectfully, and under those hectic situations, it’s priceless, lemme tell ya!

Trinh & Thien, watching this video of your memorable wedding day together brought tears to my eyes, and we are SO happy for the both of you and are especially happy to be able to call you our friends. Thank you for choosing Triple 8 Photography, we love you guys!
